Your snap happy sidekick for life's sweetest moments

How it all started

The first time I ever picked up a camera was on my fifth birthday, my parents gifted me a Barbie video camera kit. I swear I never put that thing down! From that moment on, I was hooked. I've loved photography for as long as I can remember. I used to take macro shots of everything; bugs, flowers, eyeballs... That was definitely during my Tumblr girl era; everything had to be artsy and aesthetic. It was me and my little camera against the world.

In the beginning, I was mostly photographing nature and my family. I loved taking photos of my brothers when we were little, capturing the small, silly moments that felt so big. Even as a kid, I knew photos were like little time machines, one look and you're right back in that moment.

The turning point came when my oldest was born. I got my first DSLR for my birthday, and suddenly photography became so much more than just a hobby. I didn't want to miss a single moment of him growing up; the tiny details, the milestones, the magic in the mundane. That's when it hit me, just how powerful photos are, and how much I wanted to help others hold on to their memories too.

My favorite thing about my craft is the ability to capture raw emotions, the kind that hits you right in your chest. It might sound cheesy, but I am obsessed with capturing love. The love between couples, the bond between parents and their babies, the first kiss as a married couple, or the raw, beautiful chaos of birth, those first moments holding your newborn. Those are the moments that make my heart beat faster. The reason I love what I do.

Photography Ties so deeply into who I am; I have always been an artist in one way or another. I've either had a paintbrush, a pencil, or camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. But once I discovered photography and videography, it just took off. I didn't want to miss a single special moment or milestone. I want to be able to look back and remember exactly how I felt in the moment. And I would love to help you do the same.

My Philosophy

Growing up my parents always instilled in me that the way you treat people is a reflection of the person you are and the way you deserve to be treated. I have implemented this into my business, I want to give nothing but the best to the incredible people who trust me to capture their most precious memories. To me photography is priceless! How many times have you sat down and gone through old family photos with a loved one, or wished you had more photos from the past? That's why I take my job so seriously!
